The HZC Power wood splitter HS18165 has a splitting force of up to 18 tonnes and cuts up to 570 mm long split material. The two-hand operation ensures sufficient safety during the splitting process. Nevertheless, the HS18165 is practical and easy to operate. One of the advantages of the HS18165 is that it can split in both directions. This means that it moves the blade freely in both directions. An additional integrated frame ensures that the splitting material remains at a comfortable working height.

Drive

The log splitter is equipped with a powerful Briggs&Stratton petrol engine (6.5 HP, XR950). The engine is equipped with 12,88 Nm gross torque and 208cc. Briggs&Stratton's maintenance/repair service in selected partner garages provides uncomplicated assistance should problems arise with the powerful engine.

Equipment

With a horizontal log splitter - like the HS18165 - the splitting material is placed on a horizontal splitting table. The splitting material is pressed horizontally by the pressure plate into the sharp splitting wedge and thus split. The length of the splitting material is usually very suitable for the chimney or a fireplace. The HS18165 is a double splitter, which means that it can be split in both directions. This feature increases the speed at which the material can be split. A trailer hitch makes it easy to manoeuvre on private property. However, the log splitter is not approved for road use. Due to its dimensions, the log splitter can be easily moved on a trailer in road traffic.
